The Creation Myth

Year of the Dancing Fiddle, as told by the sage Ebinezer Forthbottom Master of Lore, College of the Mystic
The goddess NEVA, the daughter of AO, delighted in the whimsical pull of the forces of magic found scattered throughout the Prime Material Plane. The various worlds, the various creations of the gods found tossed in a thousand different multiverses, drove her to start thinking of bigger things. Better things? Her father, also known as the Father of the Gods in numerous places, would probably not be happy if he knew what Neva's current ambition was. Sighing, and giving a little giggle, Neva indeed thought, "Father would be MOST displeased".
Unsure of the years spent searching, (for really, what was time to a goddess), she was startled at this particular moment when she noticed a tingling in her being, and a pull off into the depths of the Prime Material Plane. It would seem, that a possible multiverse was calling. Neva opened herself up, and with the briefest of thoughts, was there.
Neva gasped at the wonders before her. Blazing lights dazzled across the surface of stars and danced across the face of a moon. Raw rifts from the various elemental planes oozed and twisted, expelling boundless primal energies plus the very essence of magic itself. The cosmic winds thrashed and blew, binding and twisting these energies into gouts of amazing beauty, depth and power. Nevas body vibrated with the absolute raw power that was about her, and she felt herself grow with the magical storms that absorbed into the essence of her godhood. This, is what she had been searching for. The place. The time. The POWER for her to be able to create her own world. TO FORM, to take all she had seen and to USE this knowledge and create SOMETHING from the chaos of the primoridal. Her father had warned her, this would be taxing. Dangerous. BUT, her father, was not there.
Lashing out with her mind, her very thoughts forming the core of the magical pillars to bring-forth a world awakened, Neva shouted the WORDS OF CREATION.
The silver weave of raw magic ripped through the gaps of the Primordial Planes, at once birthing a world anew, as well as binding and closing those gaps within the planes that had vomited out such power. Neva saw, smiled and then fell into darkness.
As Neva floated incorporal amongst the stars and the world she created, the spinning blue globe rejoiced at the birth of its existance. Though in a state of magical slumber brought on by the extreme stress put upon her, the young goddess dreamed. In her mind she saw the wonderous mountains, the blue oceans and the towering green forests which she had visited across the vast Prime Material Plane. As she dreamed, the essence of herself wrapped around the world, causing the ground to rise from the seas, moutains to reach towards sky and forests to climb for the sun. Neva smiled, and when she finally woke she sighed with contentment. This sigh, blew down across the world, stirring the grass, bending the trees and giving life to the world she created.
Animals and creatures blossomed from the deepest depths to the highest mountains, coming into existance from the final gift, brought about by Nevas Sigh.
Neva, though weakend, was still powerful. Was she not, the daughter of AO? Seeing the world before her filled with vibrance and life, filled her with joy plus some determination. Sending her thoughts out across the Prime Material Plane, she called upon the dieties she knew asking them to send part of their essence to oversee and help sheppard in this new world. She was gratefully suprised by the amount of response given, and caused some friction when she had to turn more than one dieties avatar away.
High within the mountains of the young world, the newly formed gods met with Neva to discuss their domains, as well as gathering their people to the land. The Tablets of Fate where then created, and agreed upon. Soon after, Neva departed saying she would occasionally return to the world, to see how all of her children where doing.
Over the passing of time yet marked by sages, the new gods of the world brought their children from across the Prime to this new World of Ruttan. That time, and those events are a story for another day...
