The Draugrwulf
The hulking creature of fire and shadow was said to have been the original ruler of the land now known as the Moors. It was only named a wolf by the way it moved and nothing more. An ancient monstrosity of chaotic destruction and war. The beating of its wings could be heard for hundreds of miles, causing terror wherever it went. It was said it was a lieutenant of the long dead deity Sereptra. According to legend, it was slain in a cataclysmic battle with Corellion Larethian, and aided by the army of Kord. Legend states that his citadel fortress of Carnwrath was dug from the mountains with its massive paws. The truth behind the beast, if it is indeed true, is shrouded in myth and legend. The stories of Draugrwulf is used as a way to usher children to bed. "Off you go, lest the Draugrwulf eat you."
