Ruins of Lastreach

Lastreach was a sprawling metropolis at one time. Full of color, honor, art and life. The Border Princes settled here after fleeing the War of Idle in the The Kingdom of Freebridge. They laid the foundation of their land of would be prosperity and freedom, guarded and guided by the silver dragons that ruled over the land. They grew strong and maintained a ready but peaceful society, until the Tel Morathians from Freebridge arrived. It wasn't too long before the young settlers decided to claim independence from the Border Princes. Thus began The Border Wars, and the end of the honorable kingdom. Lastreach was the last to fall to the Royal Draugen Empire and their nearly innumerable armies. The city was sieged by great cannons and endless hordes of soldiers for months before the walls collapsed, and so did the Border Princes. The city was looted, rapes and prisoner executions ran rampant. Finally, the Empire razed the city to the ground, leaving cinder and ashes that rained down over the land for six weeks after the Empires withdrawal. Today, the remants of the city are used by all manner of unsavory folks, hoping to loot whatever is left of the old kingdom from The Border Wars.
