While the former Followers of Set now known as
Ministry have largely staked their claim with the
Anarch movement, Chicago is a different story. The Ministry in Chicago is a small population - but by in large they are at least friendly with the
Camarilla. The leader of these Ministry members is an unsuspecting old Algerian man, Marcel.
In particular, Marcel is the closest with the Chicago Camarilla. It has not gone unnotice the amount of influence Marcel has wielded these nights in the Camarilla court. He usually sits in on the odd
Primogen Council meeting or subbing in for missing members, the
Tremere in particular. Marcel is largely seen as a trustworthy kindred in Chicago - though there are whispers and distrust from those that remember the reputation the Ministry used to uphold.
Marcel is the king of a drug empire in Chicago. His political connections and clout have ensured he is the number one distributor of illicit narcotics to the various gangs of Chicago. He is
Prince Kevin Jackson's primary source of narcotics to his kine gang - which probably explains the favour Marcel wields.
Marcel is also known for running the Riverdale Ministry community. This community is meant to help other Kindreds and it is said that Marcel uses his clout to get a wayward Kindred an in with the Camarilla. Though an enticing offer to any Fledgeling or Neonate; there are some rumours floating around about the nature of his congregation. Some range from being stuck under the drug kingpin's thumb, while others say that the Ministry is nothing more than a Blood Cult.
These nights, Marcel has been asking around for who owns the remains of the Succubus Club. The nature of this interest is unknown, but he is desperate for the information. He has even gotten his childer
