Queen Blanche I
Emelia Blanche, the resilient and powerful Ice Queen, has always been a symbol of strength and determination. The former wife and queen of Apollo Pheonixfire, Queen Blanche began her throneship 180 years prior to current events when her and a group of newly formed Frostmaidens were exiled from The Kingdom of Fire due to disagreements with her husband with how the kingdom was being ruled. Into the Icy west of Luna she traveled with her companion's until they settled in a large crater.
Blanche's heart didn't remain frozen for long, though. She found solace in the arms of Herald, a loyal and valiant knight who had served her since her early days on the throne. But their love, too, became strained, causing Herald to feel increasingly distant from his queen.
Blanche brought not only her Frostmaiden sisters with her.. but their vast scientific knowledge for genetic engineering. Because of this, the Ice Kingdom was able to evolve features which allowed them to live in the Icy Tundra of Northern Luna and gave Queen Blanche an immortality to aging. A huge leap in technology and magic causing the residents of the kingdom to slingshot their way into a global power in only a few decades. Once Apollo Pheonixfire got word of this however he wanted to claim the power of youth for himself and began the hundred-years long war against the Ice Kingdom.
Despite the turmoil in her personal life, Blanche found purpose and hope in her daughter, Princess Frost. The young princess had inherited her mother's icy powers, and her resilience was a testament to the strength of the Ice Kingdom.
The Ice Kingdom itself is a matriarchy with Queen Blanche being the sole ruler for the past 180 years.. The society values the strength, wisdom, and unity of its women, who have stood firm against the flames of the Fire Kingdom.
With her icy powers, cunning strategies and geological advantage she has managed to keep the Fire King's forces at bay, despite the relentless assaults.
