Chimeria Mountain
At the centre of Chimeria stands the Chimerian Mountain; a mountain rich with energy, worship and corruption. Towering up to the clouds It is home to few, but many people live within its reach and influence. The mountain stands shaped from the ruins and anatomies of two cities, mercilessly merged, through the power of the supernatural entity Oog. Homes, businesses, warehouses, treatment plants, reactors; to name a few of the innumerable structures and supports moulding the mountain.
Natural Resources
As the numerous and productive mining towns suggest, Chimeria Mountain, especially its ground, is a hugely prolific environment for several minerals and stones. The inside of Chimeria's mountain, due to the supernatural presence of Oog, is characterised by several zones featuring different temperatures and pressures, each of which is the ideal environment for the forming of a specific mineral. From the most common minerals, as quartz and granite, to the most precious gemstones, like diamonds and emeralds: all of these materials are foundable inside the mountain.
Rocks and crystals derived from Starlight Energy are, instead, rarest. Furthermore, the mining of these minerals is managed by the more experienced unit of the mining towns. Indeed, since they derived from Starlight Energy, and thus from Oog, Starlight Rocks and Starlight Crystals are deeply nestled in the ground; therefore, this requires careful and gentle mining. As a result of their origin from Starlight Energy and their rarity, Starlight Rocks and Starlight Crystals are considered the most expensive minerals of Chimeria.
Moreover, as a result of the notorious merge, several materials, derived from the cities of Glass and Light, are foundable inside and around Chimeria's Mountain: these are the remains of the old towns, materials that can be easily reused, like copper, glass and stainless steel. Some of them need quick and straightforward treatment, made after the mining process, before being used again. Contrary, the ones which, during the merge, have come into contact with Starlight Energy, maintained their original condition; they are promptly prepared for the shipment without the necessity of any treatment.
History
During ‘the merge’ the countries Libitannia and Deltier collided and merged creating chimeria. At the centre of the impact also stood two great cities, Glass and Light. The cities collided forging the mountain; home now to cultures new and old, broken and refracted.
