Mages
With a spark of The Golden Ones inside them, Mages seam to have the power to warp reality with there very will alone. A simple thought can allow them to subvert reality and replace it with there own. There are problems however in the fact that reality seams to be keep the way it is by all the others who have sparks of The Golden Ones inside them as part of a collective consciousness of sorts. When one tries to change reality it is as if there reality fights the standard of reality. If they change reality the old reality is altered and energy is dispersed harmlessly, however if not that reality they where trying to force in shatters and flows back onto them and it's not always a good thing. This don't stop Mages from working there magics however, and some of the things they can pull of with there powers are quite impressive.
It seams almost every human has it in them to be a mage, however that bit of them that is divine is sleeping and has to be stirred up some how. Other races created from humans seam to have all that divine power suppressed or channeled into other means and don't seam to be able to tap into it, that or it's just not there. Maybe vampires lose there souls? Maybe the beasts in Fera suppress the spark in humans? Maybe fae just have the bodies of humans like they seam to think. No one really knows, but it seams only a human race can become a mage.
Mages have existed almost as long has humans have and hearken back to before the First Fall where Lemurian and Atlantean mages where starting to appear, and all Anakim are mages. The first homo-sapien mage showed up some time before the end of the Ice age and is beleaved to be the result of the story of Promethean.
