Session 20 - Trauma Tea
General Summary
-The party made their way down the mountain and into the town of Mortar Pass
-They saw many signs and papers that stated the town had an illness that was affecting those of Dwarven descent and to please not enter.
-The party knocked on the gate and a guard with a metal mask and a white a purple tunic opened and asked what their business was
-Jonathan DeWitt convinced the guard to let them in because Suoroc was a healer and could help those that are sick
-After entering the party went towards The Maiden and the Filthy Blacksmith - Inn to seek accommodations
-Before entering there was a community board with a flyer asking for help with goblin raids, spiders and ettercaps in the mines, and for anyone wishing to learn about history and have some tea.
-The party entered the inn and was met with prostitutes at tables in the entry room and an elderly woman with heavy makeup behind the desk, Benevolence Chaucer .
-Jonathan DeWitt felt at home and Kelbi Kross found the ladies pretty while Amar was uncomfortable with the conditions.
-After speaking with the innkeeper the majority of the party decided to head towards the more fancy inn on second hill
-The group left towards the The Brass Violin - Inn and it seemed this was a more apt place to rest. The inn was of high elven design and more expensive looking
-Once they entered they were met with expensive decorations and tables decorated with beautiful flowers. Emrys Tanda was curious about the flowers and one of the bellhops informed her they were Caliess Bloom - Flower .
-The group went to the desk and spoke with Eliose Haldini a high elf with a snobby attitude. Emrys Tanda spoke with some attitude towards her and she kicked her out of the inn
-The group purchased rooms and Amar went outside and grabbed a wildshaped Emrys Tanda and brought her in.
-The group went back and the rooms to the doors were magically sealed and attuned to each of them in order to open them. The whole party took a much needed relaxing bath in their rooms with Suoroc getting his clothes professional cleaned.
-Once they had been pampered the group met in the lobby and split up with Amar going to the jewelers and the rest going to visit the wizards tower
-Amar arrived at the jewelers and inquired about the gem necklace that Jonathan DeWitt had given her. Urdo Crystalshaper offered identify services and it was found the necklace was magical and that a second mechanism always pointed towards the crystal.
-Urdo Crystalshaper then stated they had some Kusvan jewelry, picking up on Amar 's ancestry and showed her a case with a few clasps and brooches
-Amar traded her Oblivium chain for 2 of the clasps and left the shop
-The others arrived at the Noqhir Tylondris' Tower and were met with a piece of paper outside that added their names to it as they approached.
-Inside the room was dark with a single table lit by candlelight and a person in long dark blue robes and a fancy feathered hat who called them by name
-They each sat down and were offered tea of whatever flavor they wished. Then they asked where they would like to have tea anywhere in the realm. Emrys Tanda stated the underdark and the scene around them changed to the middle of a drow major city.
-Emrys Tanda was having a hard time deciding what tea to drink and Noqhir Tylondris asked if he could read her mind which she allowed
-After delving into their mind Noqhir Tylondris apologized for what had happened to her and how horrible it was. Emrys Tanda asked what happened and the wizards stated you should ask your real parents because he didn't want to experience the memory again.
-Suoroc inquired about what Noqhir Tylondris was studying and the history of this place
-The wizard stated that he was part of the Cerulean Vanguard and was researching an ancient temple beneath the town and searching for a particular scroll. He was partially funding the mining operation, but they had some problems with ettercaps and spiders attacking the miners and they mining company was now taking orders from outside sources to mine for minerals and metals instead.
-Noqhir Tylondris stated that he would offer a hefty reward to help with the mining situation as well as possibly a way to get into Kusva
-Amar entered the room and asked if the scene could be changed to Delpi in Kusva which was immediately changed to the main square of Delpi
-Amar saw her mother talking to a group of people near one of the grand pyramids
-With Emrys Tanda and Amar both being shaken from things from their past, the group decided to leave Noqhir Tylondris' Tower and make they way to their next destination
