The Vale Outpost

When the Tree-folk lived on Valgalia, they had thousands of slaves whom they made construct their buildings. Before the Vale of Shadows was covered in darkness, their was a large building used by the Tree-Folk as their region-leader's quarters. Since the banishment of the Tree-folk the building had been abandoned for hundreds of years. As the darkness has been evercoming into the Vale, a small host of Elmetain from the Valley of Whispering White has been sent to use the building as an outpost.

Purpose / Function

The purpose of this building was to be the home of the Tree-Folk region leader's family. They lived there in a large building and the region was run from these quarters and important meetings were held here. Nowdays, the ruins are used as an outpost for the Elmetain as there is a lot of darkness invading Valgalia. The Host is there to keep an eye out for creatures and news passing into their own lands.

Alterations

Alterations that have been carried out are some rebuilding to make the ruins more comfortable for the Elmetain.

Architecture

The building is made from cream stone and it originally was covered in ivy and other growing plants as the Tree-Folk came from the forests. It used to have banners adorning it showing off the achievments of the Tree-Folk though these are ruined now.

History

The Tree-Folk had their slaves erect the building. It was manned by the region leader and their family. Tree-Folk were banished. Abandoned. Used as an outpost by the Elmetain.

Tourism

People do not visit this location as the people of Valgalia are filled with pain and sorrow of the age of Slavery and need no reminders. Now it is an outpost so there would be no need to visit unless you were one of the Elmetain from the Valley who is transporting foods and other goods.
