027 • Leaving the Village

In the Aarakocra village of Thistlewic, the Musical Menagerie watched as Ren wrapped up a sparring session with Apollo. After parting ways, you went to Royce's house to get a cramped but comfortable night's rest before continuing your tough journey through the Quoraska Jungle.
Miresen, 4th of Unndilar
In the morning, you cranked through a to-do list. Iris, you branched off to talk to Apollo about what he knows but may not have told you previously. As you strolled the perimeter of town, he confirmed that The Favored Daughter of the Black Doom seems to have been behind some of the village attacks as they've managed to squeeze a little information out of the attackers.
The whole exchange was a bit flirtatious and ended with a sneak attack kiss before heading back into town.
In town, the rest of you went to the armory where Urreek used his one normal eye and his one Nicodranian mechanical eye to examine weapons that you all wanted to sell to lighten your load. Then the merchant, Ikki, helped you buy some last minute things, including a Potion of Dragon's Breath, Blue and some lighter, warm weather clothing for traveling in.
Finally, you regrouped at the Great Tree that had welcomed you to the village. There, you talked with Elder Deekek about the promised reward. Due to the dire importance of this mission, he offered the use of one of their guards (you chose Royce) and 10,000gp upon proven completion.
And so, you brave heroes left the village and rejoined with Relixo. The air is thick from yesterday's rain and hangs heavy with the threat of more to come, and you have the vast jungle before you.
