General Summary

Folsen, the 29th of Thunsheer

With the festival closer than it's ever been, Comet really pushed for a band practice before actually going on stage. Reviewing the rules of the Bardle, Petrus and Ren decided they would be best utilized as dancers for the group and in their dance-off to prove their abilities Comet was absolutely floored by how beautiful their moves were. You led the team in an excellent performance accompanied by Satreus on lute with Petrus and Ren busting some impressive moves. Having livened up The Blue Balor's afternoon, you undoubtedly made some new fans who'll be sure to check you out at the Bardle.

While the party had a chill afternoon before continuing the hunt for Bounty: Brutal Macuahuitl / Tybek in the evening, Comet and Ren went to Baron's Books, Brews, & Buns to research.

Iris, who had been off doing her own thing all day, met the party at The Withered Bird Inn just in time to catch the party not ordering any drinks and heading down a ramp into The Shadows.

Iris spent the day determining what the deal was with her findings from Borru's cellar. It is a 3-spell pyromancer's spellbooklet & Dryadleaf. She had the Elvish section of the book identified by Dorophil and spent some time with Gezen the Unready after she identified the plant.

Comet you lit the way down the tunnel with your dancing lights and used your electrum coin to grant the party access. Once inside, you split up into teams to circle the fighting ring in search of Tybek before rendezvousing on the second floor. Nixx and Comet don't find anything in their direction, but Petrus spots a Tiefling headed up some nearby stairs and once they get up there Iris sees Tybek sitting down at a table with a gentleman. She runs to grab the others while Petrus and Ren keep their distance but keep their eyes on him. Nixx transformed into a deep-voiced, barrel-chested, intimidating visage as you approached, scaring off the human Tybek was talking to. With your party circling the table and keeping an eye on the conversation from a distance, Nixx you began prodding Tybek for information on the weapon you've been tasked with procuring under the cover of working for Yussa Errenis. Tybek told you it would either cost you well over 10,000gp or, for free, you could win it off him. He chose his words carefully so as not to officially challenge you, but your party sees him gesture to your weapon as tensions rise.
