006 • The Big City!
General Summary
After emerging from their grueling trek from The Gorge, the party made their way to the south of Nicodranas to have a moment with the sun setting on the ocean and perhaps sneak Georgey in to the exotic animal boarder that both Iris and Nixx were familiar with. Instead, Nixx changed into Captain Koda and Comet disguised himself to be an old man with a hunch, though that hunch was actually Georgey hidden under a cloak.
Escorted by a Zhelezo and apparently a Crownsguard Captain, the party trudged through town at the old man's pace, giving them a chance to really look around. You found yourselves in the Opal Archways district and eventually the Blue Balor. Inside, customers packed the room. Kavon explained the rooms were overflowing with Merryfrond's Day festival goers. Nixx's room had been given to an individual so the party would need to share the room. Sneaking Georgey up to his own room, Comet left him in Ren's care until it was time for sleep. On his way down, he heard some noises from the neighboring room.
Knocking on the door to investigate, a moon elf with an owl answered the door. It was Mr. Winters' character, Arcann!! PLOT TWIST The party and Ren reconvene downstairs for introductions and the performance. After playing, Comet introduces himself to Baal at the bar and buys him an off-menu Jelly Shot and asks some questions. He returns to the party with ample amounts of alcohol which inspires a brawl between Petrus and Ren. Comet helps Satreus played a rousing fight song which certainly worked on Iris who was thoroughly roused. Comet then snuck off to an alley behind the Balor and found something interesting.
Back at the Balor, Petrus won the fist fight and everyone turned in for the night. Waking up the next morning, it's the 20th day of Thunsheer, Whelsen.
