The Big Ear
The Big Ear is the leader of the Mouse Holes. The holder of this title is responsible for the gathering of all information and sharing it with their counterpart in the Mousketeers.
Like the members of the Mouse Holes, no one knows the identity of The Big Ear. Even newer members of the Mouse Holes don't know the identity of The Big Ear. Only the team leaders possess this information.
There are many rumors and theories about The Big Ear, including whispers of magic and the ability to speak to the dead.
Requirements
- Must be a member of the Mouse Holes
- Must be a team leader
- Must have accomplished a grand infiltration or information gethering feat
Appointment
The first Big Ear was appointed by Walt Disney himself. Subsequent Ears have been appointed by their predecessor.
Duties
- Oversees all members of the Mouse Holes.
- Assigns missions and locations to teams
- Organizes teams
Responsibilities
- Compiles the information gathered
- Shares this information with the leader of the Mouseketeers
Accoutrements & Equipment
Wears the largest Mickey Ears ever created. It is rumored these ears are auditory dishes that can pick up sound within a 100 meter radius.
History
First established by Walt Disney to give him insight into how the park was functioning and to let him know if there was any unrest. The original Big Ear was the leader of a small team. Upon discovering a coup attempt, the team was made a permanent group and the Big Ear rank established.
There are rumors that the Big Ear actually still reports to Walt Disney, but most write this off as non-sense since everyone knows Walt passed many years ago.
