Prince Willam Norwyn (a.k.a. "The Golden Prince", "Liam")
Prince Willam Norwyn, also known as the Golden Prince. He is the firstborn of Iron King Willam II and his wife, Princess Catlyn Langrave. Known for his grace and skill at arms, from a young age he took the title of Lord Marshal of the kingdom.

Early Childhood
Willam was born in the spring of 1394. Firstborn to the Iron King Willam II, and his first lady wife, the Westfold princess. This was taken as great news throughout the kingdom, as the birth was preceded by three miscarriages.
From a young age, Willam began to display an aptitude for the sword and lance, as well showing the characteristics that he would be known for. Ever charismatic and confident, the youth would have an easy time making friends and allies. And soon, he began to be viewed as the bringer of a golden age to come.
During a royal visit to the eastern march, Prince Willam would meet with Tristayne Fairwood, an eastern lordling that at the time was the ward of the Eastern Marcher Lord. The two would then go on to develop a deep liking for the other, and soon the guardianship of the Fairwood youth would be transferred to the royal house, where he would be educated instead.
In the summer of 1410, as the marking of the anniversary of the victory of the Westfold and the Middlands against the Wild King drew near, both kingdoms decided to hold a tourney at their borders as celebration. This tourney would go on to be one of the grandest tourneys in recent history, as not only Westerner and Middlander knights attended, but warriors from the south and north did as well. And being just shy of fourteen, Prince Willam and Trystaine would go on to attend as mystery knights, as they were forbidden from participating at all. And as the days progressed, they would go on and unseat many a great knight from their time, including the Westfold prince. At the end, both friends would find themselves facing the other during the finals, with the Golden Prince ultimately earning the honors of the day.
Adulthood
The celebrations for Prince Willam's coming of age were disturbed when a particularly successful party of Oroks managed to breach into the Middlands, causing great havoc after doing the same in the Westfold. However, having just come from his victories at the tourney, Willam offered to take care of the problem himself. And so his father granted him the title of Lord Marshal, a title that had until that point belonged to Lord Graywall, making him the youngest in the history of the kingdom.
Willam would go on to defeat the Orok party with great success, routing them back into the Westfold. But on what some deemed as recklessness given that he was commanding a war party, he would continue in pursuit of them into the Westfold territory. However, at the time it did not seem to cause a political crisis, as he would actually end up joining forces with those of the Westfold king, and together they would finally put an end to the Orok raiding party.
