The youngest son of a famous halfling acting family, Joom been around theatre all his life. And yet, he's never either really tasted the full acclaim his brothers, father and mother have enjoyed, nor has he wholeheartedly sought the adoration of the crowds.
He knows deep down that he has to see more of the world. Because an actor's life is playing the part of someone else, over and over again.
The Jim family home is in the bohemian area of Duntown, Burlington. He would rather not go back too soon.

Jim Joom found a magic dagger, the Axl Blayd, which is more accurate and deadly than a standard dagger.
He wears a pearl earring in his left ear, which identifies himself as a rogue to other footpads, vagabonds and ne'er-do-wells.

Joom Jim took his parent's money to enrol in Malmeck's School for Adventurers, and took Roguery as his main subject, mainly because the idea of fitting into the shadows and fighting as little as possible was very attractive to him.
He was so keen to get his money back from the School, that he attempted to rob a vending machine in the corridor outside the administration office. The vending machine fell on him, causing minor injuries. His refund cheque was stolen from the purse of his great friend, Karty the Fighter, who later died fighting bravely against a button mushroom the size of your fist. Joom then fell asleep in the Paraffin Lamp.
He continued his record of being the most murdery of the party of heroes by killing several goblins and kobolds once he had found the Axl Blayd, a magical weapon that grants poetic inspiration to its wielder with each kill. He received a warm handshake from Neramew on helping Pip rescue her.
Joom helped in the negotiations with Tan Peart over the job of investigating the Wilds by attempting and failing to pick the pockets of a temple paladin. He later bought a deluxe camping chair with the 100 GP he was given for provisions and stole a second one under the nose of the shopkeeper. He found the trip into The Wilds in fair weather exhilarating, but found the night less to his tastes.
In the morning, he moved on with the party and met a small pack of hill ponies. Mochache the Ranger sensed something was wrong and had them turn back to the place they had made camp with a group of coppicers, only to find them dead, killed by four human rangers. He later robbed them of 54 gold and a bunch of gold-tipped arrows when they were terrified of the hill ponies.
Joom Jim later met the Dragon God Io and heard her voice. On returning to @Livey, he was paid 500GP by Tan Peart and went to the The Paraffin Lamp.
