Unknown but believed to be connected to a sentient force. What's particular about these two is just how rare users are, the reasons why isn't even clear. Many of those that know of them believe that these two function as some sort of back end development or basic programming for the universe.

Discovery

The first known instance of these two signs appeared when the Freedom Fighters were still a thing and studied for the species known as the Guardians of Freedom. While studied, it was discovered that it took more time to master both of them and untrained users tended to cause unintended damage. It was also discovered that they work well together, as if they were suppose to.
By the 20th and 21st century, these signs are controversial due to the perceived unlimited power they have. People are also uncomfortable and paranoid when a new user comes along.

Tends to transplant itself onto a being. This can also be easily undone consciously by the bearer.

Based on what the user can perceive and excluding altering itself, a use can use the sigil at about a 10 meter radius. Also cannot subvert/destroy/recreate the laws of the universe.

Applied Restriction

Users must take the time to train using both sigils. Due to the nature of one of the sigils, a user's creativity serves as a limit to the sigil. It also doesn't work at about 10 meters beyond the users body for some reason.
Users also cannot subvert, destroy or recreate the laws of physics, metaphysics or magic. It is unknown if there's a way to actually do this, but it is believed and theorized that doing this has the potential to destroy the universe. When it was tested it was uncovered, it was uncovered it would use alternate laws to pull stuff off. For example, a wormhole or teleport platform as a replacement for a spaceship.
