Doàn'Èare
Militaristic to the core, Doàn'Èare or the "Militum" is "bred for war". Tall walls comparable to the entrance of dwarven citadels surround the city and the surrounding villages. "All roads lead to the Militum." The might of the humans, dwarves, elves and other humanoids that live here is something to leave anyone's mouth agape in awe.
At a young age everyone is enrolled in the "Academy" and given the same training and teaching. They are separated into individual classes based on their skills and abilities. After serving for ten years, after the end of their training, they may leave the Militum forces if they wish. The warriors who stay specialize in either melee combat or ranged combat but all know the basics of both. The wizards, and sorcerers become master battlemages.
Those who no longer serve in the military support the Empire by becoming farmers, smiths, masons, engineers, etc.
Government
Hard military is the way of life here. They have a militaristic government, their taxes go to any war effort and building sustainable travelable roads and they follow the laws of their "Militum Codex".
Defences
Infallible walls protect the city and surrounding settlements. Ballistae and archers line the top of the walls. Battlemages are in every tower. At least one company of soldiers occupies any settlement at any given time.
Industry & Trade
After their service, they have a choice to continue fighting, become farmers, smiths, engineers or otherwise. Their main trading is weapons and advanced war machines and they trade those for various metals, minerals, chemicals or magic items.
Infrastructure
They have built highest quality roads, the biggest forts and villages and take pride in their technological advancements.
Assets
They constantly create new weapons, protection equipment and war machines.
Guilds and Factions
The military exists in this country as an organization that encompasses most everything except for the black markets and assassins of the Militum.
History
The history of Doàn'Èare is governed by war. They are the protectors of men. They stood fast in the face of the Greenskin War, a war that sought to eradicate all humans, elves, halflings and dwarves.
Tourism
Those who come to Doàn'Èare as "tourists" are always suspected to have ulterior motives guiding them. Or they want to join a greater organization like the Militum. Those who pass through as said tourists are kept far away from the armed forces in any of the city or settlements where R&D and training happens and are almost always locked up or killed if found wandering.
Merchants are kept to a strict path, and for that reason, almost none ever venture to Doàn'Èare but wait for the Militum to reach out.
There is no reason to visit the Militum.
Architecture
The architecture is often confused with dwarven architecture. The walls of the city are made in such a way that there is a seamless transition between them and the ground. On the inside every inch of the city, buildings, roads and otherwise, are carved directly from bedrock or molded into the bedrock.
