Sol

The city of Gold and Glory

The city of Gold and Glory. A bright light shadowing the the rest. Sol in the core of the Solier Empelle. The heart of it's operations and governing. The city is the largest of any in the empire and acts independant from the Tuly province it is connected to. To rule Sol is to rule the empire and throughout history some tribes of Wesser or betrayal legions have attempted to do so.   Sol is a trading hub, one of the first to accept kenji merchants in the early times of it's tribal life. Little in the means of minerals or metal can be found in the area and the city depended on the trade it brought in to build the city. There is 2 main valuables Sol provided that gave the city such a advantage over the others. A exploding population and plenty of food to feed it. This is what built the first legions, this is what gave the city the necessary tools to forcefully gather the resources need to build the city up. The city is overpopulated with many living in crowded homes. Members of the Sol Legion are sometimes known to pitch tents on the walls and sleep up there compared to the barracks. Being overcrowded the city has expanded 3x over, each time a new wall was placed showing the history of the cities growth. The walls alone aid in the control of any riots or fights if ones were to occur, stopping so far all riots from growing city wide.   The practice of building tall, building upon building has been done in the inner rings of the city and are often homes to the more wealthy of families. A Technic developed by the Church of Igron upon their own history of building tall in their own holy city back in Igolt.

The tribe was raided a great deal and over time with trade and ideas from the Kenji traders Sol was able to overcome the local tribes making the Tuly peninsula one people. The city has been razed once by Wesser's outside of the Tuly peninsula, yet since then no siege was ever successful since.
