Sata Province

A large portion of land broken up into several tribes, conquered by the 2nd Empellor. First region to be expanded on outside of Tuly Province. With the expansion of the Empire through the region The Wesser tribes inhabiting attempted to resist with little effect. A losing war that rallied all the tribes in the region together too late. Their last effort of a push against the Solier Empelle was attacked before two portions of their army could gather.
The General of the Legions tasked to conquer the region, Dierricus as cunning as he was saw to enact a risky attack against the assembling army near dusk before uniting with the encampment at the northern edge of the small mountain chain near the coastline. This skirmish lasted until nightfall over several hours. At lights end the army was scattered and broken, following the next morning with a demand of surrender to the surviving encamped army. This surrender was rejected and the final great battle took place leading to the destruction of any possible true resistance. Some more skirmishes played out through the region, yet nothing that was significant.
Once made into a province, upon the ruins of one of the more stubborn tribes settlements was built the a head quarters fort. This fort governed the region while order was restored to the region. Slowly growing from a fort into a Solien settlement, eventually being the capital of the province on a later date. A loyal subject of Sol placed to govern the region. Tasked with finding a proper Grand Governor.
After 17 years of rule a Grand Governor was selected from a apparent loyal tribe/village following Solier Empelle within the region. This village, embracing Solien culture, writing, and language made traditions that were adopted by the new Grand Governor for the province of Sata. Upon the death of the Grand Governor a new one would be elected from a roster chosen as potential heirs from the Previous Grand Governor. Some unrest was always caused by this method of leadership choosing, yet it aided in the Grand Governor lineage not remaining one family for too long.

Geography

The land much like the other regions of Wess held several dense woods, rolling hills and open fields. The terrain has more cliffs and difficult elevation towards the mountains on the coastline. Stretching from the sea to the inland fresh water sea Sata is one of the larger provinces with a steadily growing population and many well made roads cutting through it's land.

Natural Resources

Large Copper mines and masterful crafted Bronze/metal works is famous here. Much of the raw material of the Empelle at large is brought to Sata to be processed into legion armor or standard equipment to sever the Empelle.
