Iggmo Septs

An old nation made over time from the Sept known as Ig. Most of it's territory resides on the Igolt peninsulas. A vassal nation to their rule being the Septs of Bessc keys. Due to the Kenji method of breeding Septs are a essential part of Kenji culture. Acting as sub capitals for various small tribes living deep in the tropics. The Rule of the smaller tribes on such a terrain is nearly impossible, yet the Iggmo country rules over the Septs they travel to enforcing law through them alone.   Iggmo is sometimes refer to as the Dominion, yet this is not a legitimate title of the nation and is simply a common made popular by several Kenji philosophers. The Septs rulled by Iggmo directly are the following
  1. Ig
  2. The Sept to found the Church of Igron and the first to begin trading with the Bessc Region. Most influential Sept in the Igolt Region, Uniting all discovered Septs of Kenji throughout the Igolt Region.

After several small skirmishes with Sept Mes they submitted to their dominion, learning the language of Kenjuit to trade and communicate with their island neighbors.

Public Agenda

To have all faithful to the Church of Igron.

History

The Pures race of Kenji inhabiting the Igolt peninsulas culturally different than the true natives of the mainland tropics. the Pulsal Kenji did not act kindly to the migration of Kenji arriving in the Igolt region. Their trouble in mixing with the other races of kenji resulted in some time of inbreeding that caused a noticeable genetic trait. A soft blue skin tone and a more distinct body proportions in a slender form. Through several hundred years the Pures racial group was formed.   It is unclear when, yet the Kenji people say that the time upon their racial identity was made an age of enlightenment was given to them. This is most likely myth, yet the Sept of Ig upon the day of judgement proclaimed faith in a new god. The storyies of old speak of a Pulsal raiding party that were to attack Ig, yet on the day a great storm and flood hit washing away all those that didn't reside on the Stone pyramids the Sept's were built out of. Floods are a common even in such a tropical land, yet this one is claimed to have made the pyramids islands in a shallow sea. The faith was spoken of a single god. one divine power spoken of from a survivor of the storm.   All old myths in Ig were slowly rejected or converted to means of validating the faith of Igron. Under this new found church Ig reached out to it's friendly neighbors suggesting an alliance against the raiders from Lehimri. Through the church a defensive alliance was forged. The rulers of the Ig Sept first taking advantage of this Igron faith soon came to fear it. The order acted with more freedom and power than they could manage and attempted to burn the church down, banning the faith. This was seen as an insult to the idenity of Ig and through riots, violence, and death did the Church become the single governing force upon the Sept of Ig.   Those that align themselves with the church were aided and supplied with means to defend themselves from the raiders. Those that did not were left to burn leaving only several Septs left in the Igolt peninsulas. A time known as the Copper Wars were underway. When copper began to be used by the Kenji people in mass a series of conflicts between Lehimri and Igolt continued. the divide among their races and cultures. With the Septs on Bessc united under one leadership Bessc attempted an alliance with Igolt. This alliance would be directed towards the burning of the Pulsal Septs in the Lehimri region.   In the process of invading Lehimri Igolt and it's people developed complex societies, no longer hindered by the raiding pulsal. Igolt became a one people under one of the new Drocheens, the greatest religious figure of the Church of Igron. The saint claimed that upon his dominion of the Lehimri region and the protectorate state Bessc will be placed in Igolt and all those under it's rule will be seen as one. Using the old word for Peoples Unity he called this new order Iggmo.   Around the time of Iggmo's conception the merchants in Bessc attempted to reach out north and trade with the before assumed primitive people known as Homin. Those inhabiting the Wess coast were general hostile towards the Kenji people, yet some tribes such as Sol grew to accept them and their gifts of trade.

Taller we stand

Iggmo has more historical wars upon rivers and oceans than on land. The use of metal weapons was often difficult in water climate so glass tipped spears were a common form of weapons instead.
