Personal history
She was born human 204 years ago, in 11,800. She lived in Dawn, relatively happy. One day she decided to explore the world, become an adventurer. She'd learned some magic as a Wizard's apprentice, so she could defend herself to a degree. One day, she found a crashed hunk of metal, shrouded by illusion magic. Inside lived a human who had lived for 2500ish years until the present (2300ish at this point). He had caused his ship to crash on the planet as it fled from another spaceship - one belonging to the Giff.
He tried to force himself from the limits of life, knocking his ship's engine out in the process, and he never knew how to fix it. His experiment worked, creating the first lich. It eventually led to the death of many of his comrades.
He shared his story with her, in a monologue befitting a villain. Also befitting a villain, he planned to kill her. She suggested she could study under him and assist him in his unlife. He agreed, as he was lonely. Slowly but surely she became more competant than he did, and in his jealousy he experimented on her, gradually driving her insane. He continued his work on what he thought was her corpse, leading to her heart decaying and petrifying, but the rest of her remained youthful and alive.
After finishing his experiments he tossed her into the sea, hiding his shame. It took her about 160 years, but she was able to find her mind again, and she dragged herself to Skorrain, a place she thought to be a wasteland, such was her desparation to not only live, but live away from him.
She made her way through the surprisingly pleasant country, toward Ferrenith. Her travels allowed her some measure of resources, and she got back into the swing of Necromancy to further her life, or unlife as she figured out. Eventually she got to Ferrenith, and acquired the Necromany Tower under the proviso that she never go to war with The Mob. In return for her occupying the tower that so scared them, The Mob also agreed to never attack her.
