17 Bleecker Street, The Doctor's Orders

Where the Guardians Live and Learn

17 Bleecker Street is the home to the Lovecraftian Order, although this is not common knowledge. The public perception of the place is that it is home to the Gusteaus, who run the Doctor's Orders magic shop and blacksmithery.

Purpose / Function

The main purpose of The Doctor's Orders is as a magic item shop and blacksmith's foundry, but that hides its second purpose: to be used as a base of operations for the Lovecraftian Order. The official knowledge of 17 Bleecker Street is that the whole block is owned by Edgar Gusteau to use as a warehouse and laboratory, as well as a forge for his wife's blacksmithing, but in reality only a third of the space is used for such. The rest is used as a barracks of sorts for the Order, housing up to 20 people, with an office for Carter West, a main hall where meals are taken and the members can relax, and a hidden hangar for the Order's skyship, the Weatherlight.

Valuables

Many artifacts and magic items are stored in the warehouse behind the Doctor's Orders shop.

Alterations

17 Bleecker Street was once four different buildings, but the insides were hollowed out and the walls were bonded together, to create one large tenement. The Doctor's Orders shop takes up two-thirds of the front on Bleecker Street, with Millie Gusteau's forge taking up the rest. The top floors of that side of the street were repurposed as the Gusteau's home, and the back two buildings were hollowed out and made into a warehouse, secret hangar, main hall room, and apartments for up to 20 people.
