Traditions across Vyngaard for the New Year
The New Year is celebrated when the Fahn crosses back into Vyngaard from the Feyfjords, and appears in the city of ---, in front of the church in the centre of the city.

The New Year is celebrated all across Vyngaard, though all contintents celebrate it in different ways. On all continents, people travel to the Circlet and do one thing of tradition while making a wish that will come true whenever the Fahn passes that spot during the coming year. What one does at the Circlet depends on the contintent.
APATTLA
The New Year is marked in the city of --- and there are a lot of festivites around this area. Markets open, stalls sell everything under the sky from all across the world, and firework-like spells are set off. This is also common in other large cities on Apattla. At the end of every year, the Fahn Run is held. As citizens await the coming of the Fahn, a horse race is set up in the centre square, where the Fahn will appear. As the Fahn passes into Vyngaard, the race starts and the contestants all try to outride the train. The race is a contest in which horse and rider can keep up with the train for the longest. The last horse and rider to be passed by the nose of the train, wins and ends the race. It is considered common and very good luck to travel to the Circlet and be there when the Fahn passes, to throw a pebble on the Fahn to spur it on and make one's wish. This also allows one to make their wish at any time before the Fahn leaves Apattla, and the wish will come true the next time the Fahn passes onto Apattla. VENSEA & DELNAT
On New Years people travel to the Fahn Circlet to lay out things on the Circlet according to tradition, depending on the continent, while they make their wish. The largest cities also have markets in celebration of the New Year, and sell many local unique items to prepare the markets for the items that the Fahn brings to sell to them. For everyone who dropped off of the Fahn during the passed year, it is common and considered good luck to sleep on the tracks of the Fahn Circlet the night before New Years to mark an end to their travels of the year, so they can begin to start anew. For everyone who will board the Fahn the coming year, it is common and considered good luck to spend the night after New Years sleeping on the tracks to start one's year blessed and ready for the coming travel.
