Tiefling

Tieflings are human-based planetouched, most often through descent from fiends—primarily devils, who had bred with humans. Tieflings are known for their cunning and personal allure, which made them excellent deceivers as well as inspiring leaders when prejudices are laid aside. Although their evil ancestors can be many generations removed, the taint lingers. Unlike half-fiends, tieflings are not predisposed to evil alignments and vary in alignment nearly as widely as full humans.

Facial characteristics

Tieflings have large curling horns, pointed teeth, and strikingly unusual eyes. Their eye colors can vary widely from black, gold, red, yellow, silver, or violet, and possess no pupils. Their hair color can vary just as widely as well, with red, black, blue, or purple being the most common.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Due to their unique heritage, Tieflings are something of a rarity in large numbers. There are places such as Emberfell and Khavica where societal views towards them are far less stigmatizing that many tieflings travel to.

Culture and Cultural Heritage

Tiefling have no discernible culture of their own, and most inevitably end up loners. Some slip into the edges of human societies, becoming artists or poets, who describe the corrupt fringes of the respectable world.

Most races (especially humans) don't trust tieflings (and deep down, most fear them even most tieflings don't trust other tieflings.
