Reunoud the Everwise

Reunoud the Everwise was a Tortle scholar who lived on the eastern coast of what is now Taurtofna. He was a chronicler and a traveler best known for his Travels along the Southern Coast and Nearby Isles, which was left incomplete at his death in 1647. Though Reunoud never made time to travel to the frozen coast near The Rime, the book is still an invaluable piece of early historical work that is taught in universities to this day.
