PW17 - I Challenge You to a Shadow Duel

General Summary

The Party found some common ground with Bhasarkana, who brought them to his camp at Chilika Lake. There, they got into a scrum while trying to get Gwynnestri her body back.

Shadow Duel

After crashing to the ground, Bhasarkana and The Party killed the rest of the shadows. They were impervious to most damage, but Ylkurtinvy's advice to use radiant damage and Blackvine proved effective. Pemma also turned out to have a Shadowsteel dagger and joined the fight in an uncharacteristic display of initiative. Bhasarkana was significantly weakened by the fight, but 

Bhasarkana

Like in their previous meeting, Bhasarkana elected not to attack the party, though he made various threats to kill them during the conversation. The Rakshasa made it clear that he suspects Suparsvi of the attack. After a quick negotiation with The Party, Bhasarkana agreed to pull out of the Chilika Swamps in return for the party's assistance in fighting Suparsvi, or at least whatever force was behind her plans.

The Lake

Zaluoh's Guerillas stayed in the swamp to ensure that Bhasarkana's The Party promise of a ceasefire was adhered to. They traveled to the lake at his invitation, though their most pressing task was getting Gwynnestri back into her original body. They quickly found Seoz, who was less than willing to hand over his ill-gotten goods. The session ended with a fight breaking out in the officers' tent.
