PW11+PW12 - Catty Banter

General Summary

Upon returning to camp, The Party found an intruder in their midst and came face-to-face with the Rakshasa sooner than they planned.

Returning to Camp

At first, Zaluoh seemed to have managed camp without much of note happening apart from his relationship with Turapi becoming more obvious. However, he allowed two of his second cousins to enter the camp without blood screening them. After the party arrived to perform the blood test on everyone, it was discovered that one of them was Suparsvi in disguise.

Suparsvi

The Rakshasi offered everyone 10,000 GP to leave the swamp. When the party refused and captured her, she seemed unusually calm about it. She shared that the current forces in the area included 6 Leonin Priests and many dozens of others, though she seemed unsure of the exact numbers. The Party tried to leave her tied up behind them, but she followed them to their new location, intentionally allowing herself to be recaptured.

Irani

During their interrogation of Suparsvi, Irani let The Party know that a large number of Deviltongue Brutes were trawling the shore of Chilika Lake. Suparsvi was visibly bothered by the party learning this information. Gwynnestri theorized that they could be looking for a magic item.

Chase

In the morning, the The Party spotted the Deviltongue Brutes running through the trees about a quarter mile away from them. Without much time to think, they attacked Suparsvi and fled. They shook Bhasarkana's men after dodging monsters and other natural obscales, but Bhasarkana caught up to the party. He was initially convinced that the party still had his sister Suparsvi because she wasn't "contacting him." The Party told him that they killed Suparsvi and thus sent her back to Amavasya, her native plane. Bhasarkana left to help his forces and the party reunited with Zaluoh.

Planning

The party discussed going to Chilika Lake or attacking the enemy base and seemed to be leaning towards the latter. Pemma hinted at having some knowledge of the Shadowfell.
