Myconid

Myconids are a sentient race of fungi that live exclusively in the Mycelian Collective and the Underdark below. They are a playable race, but only in campaigns that begin in or near their homeland. Outsiders have yet to learn much about how the Myconids think because they have no verbal language and communicate purely through telepathy and symbols that are poorly understood. The only insight outsiders have comes from those who willingly ingest spores and join the collective, as some Drow do.
