Frunda

Summary

Frunda, referred to by its neighbors as "the wilds", is a forest region in Northwest Laivra. The area is sparsely populated, mostly by Wood Elves, Firbolg, and Half-Orcs. It is known for its hunting and fur trading, and shares a reputation for lawlessness with its neighbor Cûrambis.

History

When Tirkagos and Tarynus split in 3173 AK, diplomats from what would become Cûrambis lobbied for the area's independence due to its Elf population. As a compromise, it was agreed that the area's Elves (ethnicity:b9bfc72f-ff80-4ce1-86d5-ff7ffab9b102) would pick a marquis to lead them that would answer to Tarynus. It is yet unclear how permanent this arrangement will be, as Cûrambis still hopes for the area's full independence or it's integration into their now independent land.
