Mountaintop Predators

Aarakocra are an avian race that share visual features with hawks of various species. They prefer isolation on high mountain peaks, so few in Vrashyn have seen an Aarakocra. For most, they are only a legend, said to come from an imaginary land across the Northern Deep or from floating cities build by the gods. Those who regularly sail to the Larmashi Islands, however, know that there is nothing mystic about these reclusive avians. Generally evil-aligned in this setting, the Aarakocra view other races as prey from whom they can take what they will, though they are willing to suspend that judgement in the face of overwhelming strength or mutual benefit.
