Physical Description

Body Features

A tan human with plenty of wrinkles across his face from years in the sun and the open sea. His back is slightly hunched, no matter how much he attempts to stand up straight, a penalty for the vast years of study. Otherwise the man looks fit and sturdy. The gray in his hair and cleanly shaven beard gives him a sense of dignity, rather than age. However, the sorrow in his eyes give the sense there is more to him than a silver tongue and sharp mind.

Well trimmed beard graying along with his hair. Prominent black eye brows give an idea of how his hair might have looked in his youth.

Personal history

Born into a well off trade family that sailed to far off lands to sell and buy goods. Inraus was brought on these trips before he even had memories. He never took to the manual labor of sailing the ships and minding the cargo, but he had a love for diplomacy, negotiation and learning about new people or places. Before long he asked to begin his apprenticeship among various vessels so he may better understand the trade. While on sea he developed his diplomatic skills and merchant prowess. At home he studied under influential alchemists who taught him herbs, medicines and defense if he was ever threatened by pirates.
His expertise in the field grew his families trading company even larger, becoming a major player in the Vraccusean trade guild. Inraus' diplomatic ability was seen as an asset for any aspiring leader, which is how he grew to know Orsejess. A timid friendship was struck and deals were made with the Zakeen family, making Inraus an invaluable ally to Orsejess.

Formally a prosperous over seas trader. He often spent his time dealing with foreign merchants, traders and occasionally pirates. He has since left the sea to pursue his career as a diplomat for the king, often dealing with the southern kingdom.

An accomplished historian and foreign diplomat. He spends many hours indulging in books, primarily to teach himself new cultures, history or languages. A skilled alchemist, helping to push alchemic knowledge.

Failures & Embarrassments

He always considered leaving the sea to be a failure, but to not serve on the royal court would also be a failure. He is embarrassed about his longing to be a trader once again, but fears bringing shame to his family and being marked a coward.

Intellectual Characteristics

He is well versed in philosophies, cultures, languages and magics. He spends much of his long voyages as a youth reading and practicing his skills in real world situations. He now brings those honed skills to the kingdom to negotiate peace with the south.
