Vraccusean Chronicles

It's been ages since the old gods left, abandoning the people of this world and leaving us to our own devices. Although we are still devout and hold strong that the gods will return our people face an identity crisis. What was once a single kingdom, strong and united to a single cause - destroy the chaos within the wilds. Now the kingdom has fractured and constantly flow between periods of war and tense peace. Ghosts of the past haunt us still today, creeping into society as we squabble, forgetting what we stood for. Evil demons gather power and push against our defenses with each passing day. Some believe it's only a matter of time before we are engulfed. We turn on each other in vain attempts to control more land and make more profit. Our devout are constantly reminded about the power they are losing and their faith wanes. Yet I don't fret. I have seen the miracles, I've felt their overwhelming presence. I have looked upon their faces in aw and I have returned to give you a message. Abandon your faith and bow before the rightful gods. Do this, or perish.
