Tekai Pofgyt
Emperor Tekai Hiü Pofgyt (a.k.a. Sky king)
Tekai is the current (3036) head of house Pofgyt, and Emperor of the Mregian Empire. He came to power during to the civil war that ravaged Nylicert for a short while. He is an ambitious and intelligent ruler.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Tekai is a strong, average, man. Standing at just over 6 foot. He is quite handsome and charismatic, and inspires loyalty in his underlings.
He has a scar on the right side of his forehead, starting just above his eyebrow, that recedes into his hairline, continuing as a grey stripe in his hair.

Apparel & Accessories
Tekai is often seen wearing the uniform of a Pofgyt Kepara, adorned with items signifying his rank as Emperor. The uniform is mainly black, with gold buttons ascending off centre up to the collar, which has a single Pofgyt blue line, going horizontally around it, splitting off to go along the shoulders and to the cuffs. The edges of it are lined with golden thread, showing him as royalty. He wears the Pofgyt emblem on his left breast, with 2 medals underneath.
on his left side is a beautifully decorated sheath, holding a master crafted sword, double edged, but slightly curved to a point at the tip, the hilt extends to cover the front, protecting the handle. At the centre of the hilt is a Lerite gemstone in a perfect hexagonal shape, on the opposite side is a sapphire gemstone of precisely the same size and shape. The blade is engraved with the word, "Skyrender" in Mregian. It is a one handed sword, so the blade is medium length, shining brilliantly when exposed to sunlight, with a feint iridescence.

Personal history
Tekai grew up as the son of the previous Pofgyt head. He had a brother and two sisters, which made for a competitive home life.
His only brother, Deleho, was a non-leromir whom he teased constantly using his superior abilities. His sisters both were more powerful than him, and just as competitive.
Tekai enjoys challenges, from sparring to airship racing, he mastered any hobby he took up, which gave him a range of skills.
In 3021 he joined O.M.R airship division. Fast tracked to the rank of Kepara-(Captain) and given command of a fine airship called Hetüersi.
The Hetüersi was a Lera powered ship, with jet engines to give it good boost in speed, a very cutting edge design at the time. It carried five type 9 turrets, two missile siloes, two bomb racks, flares, electronic countermeasures, and a missile interception system. A powerful destroyer freshly designed for modern warfare.
Tekai took part in the first world war, mostly in the skies of Rezakia.
3025 - Tekai is ordered to explore reports of an extra-terrestrial object landing near the Rezakian isles. He discovers the crash site of an Alien drone, it is damaged but dangerous. Ikrevian and Arlerik forces also investigate, and the area soon becomes saturated with air and sea ships from both sides of the war. They fight each other for posession of the Alien technology, but see that first it should be neutralised.
Tekai was responsible for the Mregian strike against it. The Ikrevians had failed, and their lines were devastated by the drones advanced weaponry. Tekai broke from the line of airships, and rammed into the massive drone, giving him and a marine squad time to board it.
Within an hour the drones defences were disabled. Tekai and his team escaped aboard a skiff just as the combined Mregian and Ikrevian fleets began shelling it to high hell.
Of course after the drone it was a bloody struggle to gain control of the wreckage and the technology it contained. It was sure to end up an even more violent conflict than the war had been up until this point, but after a few months another drone landed over an Ikrevian owned naval base. This drone was much more heavily armed, and undamaged. It leveled the surrounding area and began constructing a base for alien forces to land.
This caused the hostilities between Mregia and Ikrevia to cease, and all firepower and attention was put on thwarting the alien invasion that threatened the entire planet. During the war, Tekai would face off against the aliens multiple times. In one such encounter he was injured fighting a boarding crew that had infiltrated his ship. The infiltrators were killed or captured, and Tekai was left with only a scar on his forehead, that moved up into his hairline, turning into a grey stripe in his hair.
After the war, Tekai was commended for his achievements by the Empress and given the rank of Hyavind. There was no time during the war, as he would have this rank bestowed at the age of 25 either way. At this point he was 30.
In the summer of 3031, Tekais' father dies aged 84. Tekai was the oldest of his siblings, and so became the Sert'Hyavind for house Pofgyt.
3034, the Empress is declared dead. After the month of mourning all hell breaks loose. Nylicert descends into civil war to find the next Monarch. Tekai believes the country needs a strong ruler, having seen how badly House Hokra has run the empire so far.
3036 Tekai comes out victorious, and is crowned Emperor. He has many changes to make, and many plans to see through. But first he must gain loyalty and trust from the disgruntled Houses.
