Lera Exhaustion

A temporary ailment that only Leromirs suffer.

Causes

Using Lera abilities too much can cause you to get exhausted.

Symptoms

• Inability to maintain a stable Lera field.

• Aching pain in the Koraz (The Lera organ)

• Fatigue

• Great thirst

• Possible damage to Koraz via burning or freezing if the victim continues to use Lera in this state.

Sufferers will often experience paranoia, as their ability to detect the world around them via Lera sense is unstable or gone completely. They may be twitchy, look around them constantly, and be unable to sleep.

Treatment

Calorie rich food, rest, and plenty of water, Lerite supplements also help along with this.

Prognosis

Mostly the victim will make a full recovery, as long as they get rest and food. In the most extreme cases people will die, or cripple their Keroz.

Leromirs, more often old or young.

Prevention

Not getting exhausted in the first place, and eating enough calories to maintain their energy levels.

History

Lera Exhaustion was a common cause of death in Leromir slaves. In the modern age it is a rare occurrence.
