ISO

ISO is the name of the first post-human... Sort of. During the modification experiments carried out by [|||||||||||] [||||||||||||||||], she had her brain surgically removed and placed in a mechanical body. The culmination of 15 years of horrific research and experimentation. They named their success "Ikbihili 50", "Experiment 50", I-50, or ISO for short.
ISO did not remember her name or very much about her past life, having been in a terrible accident that put her in a coma. She was the perfect final test subject, proof that the technology worked.
After she gained a new body and a new lease of life, ISO was discharged without so much as a goodbye. She was interviewed by radio and television people for a short time.
ISO wanted to regain her life before the accident, and set out to find family, friends, or any clue that could help.
3 months after she woke up, ISO gained a sister that shared her existence. Princess Setari had been revived in a much nicer body than ISOs' own.
A year past by and ISO was still nowhere in her search for a place she belonged. One day she got a letter, inviting her to work at the Sathar Prosthetics Hospital. Princess Setari had created it to help those affected by the experiments, and to heal amputees of war.
ISO accepted the invitation, and grew quite close to Setari during their time together. After Setari became Empress, ISO was promoted to overseer of the hospital.
During the Mregian civil war of 3034, the prosthetics hospital was attacked by lord Soren Miganelli (Skyhammer), a lord under the Pofgyt house. Soren assaulted the island hospital in his airship, and proceeded to invade. ISO and a small contingent of rehabilitated soldier amputees defended against this immoral attack. ISO never had much practice in fighting, but her metallic body made up for it. Soon the doors were blasted open and a small army poured in. After a few minutes of fighting the defenders lost, and surrendered.
Soren had lost two sons to cyborgs during the terrorist attacks carried out by Vorich Sathar. He gathered men with a similar thirst for vengeance, planning to attack the hospital that helped create more cyborgs. He gave the order to start executing the amputees one by one. ISO couldn't allow this, and broke free of her restraints in a seething rage. Soren smashed her across the chest with his warhammer, flooring her instantly. The damage was extensive, and her pain receptors weren't to scream so loud. ISO attempted to get back up, clutching the shattered remains of her chest. She had lost the use of her legs. Soren began punishment for attempting to kill him, he crushed each of her limbs with his hammer, savouring the tinny, glitched screams it caused. Finally it was time for the finishing blow. The amputees looked in pained horror as Soren rose his hammer for the final time. The screech of a blade was heard as Soren laughed to himself, only to be cut short by the blade which still sung in his throat.
Standing there, behind Soren was a black haired man with a horn, gripping a thin sword with a most beautiful mechanical arm, guilded in golden accents. He let out a blood curdling scream of rage and wrenched the sword free of its' target, the start of a violent massacre of Sorens men. By the time he was done, nobody, alive or dead was left standing. The Amputees cowered behind overturned beds, the attackers lay in a pile of corpses that writhed and groaned like it was it's own entity. The horned butcher fell to his knees by ISO's side, tears dripping from his short beard.
This is the end of ISO's story, a pile of crushed metal and debris.The first and last of her kind, at least for a while.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

ISO resembles a humanoid with very minimal, metallic features. her arms and legs are very thin, her outer shell is a polished lightweight metal. Her eyes are 2 cameras encased in her smooth, skull like head. Her faceplate can be removed to reveal a dark black structural skull, which contains her brain in a cylinder of liquid and an intricate network of wires. A circular charging port is positioned at the back of her head.
her hands are as elegantly designed as Setari's, almost perfect replication of human hands, with perhaps even better articulation and dexterity, which unfortunately lack the same grip strength as a normal human. Infact her whole body as a whole is weak and frail. She was only a proof of concept after all. As long as she could function and control her limbs that's all that mattered at the time. ISO has a variety of modifications made by Overseer Setari to maximis her effectiveness in surgery. Syringes, scalpels, and bespoke bonesaws line her forearms, fully retractable when not needed.

Apparel & Accessories

ISO couldn't wear clothes, as they always got caught in her various mechanisms and joints. Instead she wore a variety of hats. The only thing she could actually wear. She loathed not being able to wear fashionable outfits, so her hats were a big deal to her.
