Drisco Kiggra

Drisco was a Kiggran Hyavind who married Neskar Hokra. He was an accomplished sailor and pirate hunter, having spent much of his life exploring the Kalgitian isles. He was introduced to Neskar during a council meeting his father had dragged him along to. Drisco didn't know she had recently been crowned Emperess and was quite rude. Then he found out he was going to be married to her, as part of a contract between Neskar and his father for help fighting the Rezakian war. At first, they weren't very fond of eachother, but found a common love of sailing. Instead of Neskar turning Drisco into a proper gentleman, like his father had hoped, Drisco turned Neskar into a danger loving, pirate hunter. The two fell deeply in love, and were a major source of trouble for the Rezakian pirates that assaulted Nylicerts coasts. They had a daughter, Kaivir, who they pretty much abandoned and left in the palace while they were out chasing pirates and having adventures. It's not that they didn't want her, the war kept them busy, and they didn't want Kaivir to be exposed to the dangers they faced on a regular basis. When Neskar died, Drisco retired and spent a short 4 years with Kaivir, being the father he should have been. Unfortunately, he soon died, and the crown was passed on.
