Following a series of devastating defeats in the Western Pass, the Church of Stasis found their once overwhelming numbers reduced to mere fractions. This string of losses, totaling fifteen consecutive defeats, forced their forces into a strategic retreat. They moved further north, drawing closer to the pointed peak of the landmass, a region known for its harsh and unforgiving terrain.
As the Church of Flux's troops pursued their retreating foes, the Prophet of Stasis, armed with the potent Thirds of Rafoo, recognized the direness of their situation. In a desperate bid to fulfill their divine mission of bringing stability and order to the world, he pushed his clerics to make a final, decisive stand against the advancing Melectian forces.

The Climactic Encounter

The Melectian vanguard, expecting to face the weakened remnants of Rafoo's forces, instead encountered a small but determined group of Stasis clerics in the bounds of a surrounding valley. Unbeknownst to the Flux troops, these clerics were prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice for their cause.
In a moment of intense, divine reckoning, the clerics of Stasis unleashed an immense expanse of divine power. They sacrificed their lives to manifest a colossal wave of stasis energy, freezing themselves and the entire Melectian vanguard in an enormous icy plateau. This act of self-immolation and devotion to their cause effectively halted the Flux troops' advance and marked the beginning of the end of the war.
