Bugbears

Bugbears were drafted in as mercenaries and battle fodder by Grakthal. They are a kind of hybrid between grakthal and some form of ancient, more neanderthal Grakthal, a throwback to a more savage breed of Grakthal. Nomadic bugbear tribes exist in the Deorvold and in the wastelands east of Andredia. Bugbear tribal armies have also attempted raids on satellite Heimfolk settlements (outside of the main clan settlements), with some success. Hence Bugbears are generally hated by Heimfolk.
