King Christophorus Voltan (a.k.a. Chris, Christopher)
The King of Tolondrigna. He stands at 6 feet tall and has brown hair and well tanned white skin. He is well respected and loved by the people. Personal history
He grew up under the tutelage of his teachers and a caretaker who raised him since he was a babe. She made sure he was always clean and didn't hurt himself. At the age of 6 he could sit in the throne room with his parents and sit still, not bringing unnecessary attention to himself. He was always smart and advanced in his classes quite quickly. He made friends with some of the young servant children his age and treated them well.
He was never loud and at the age of 8 he started his training in fighting, starting with wooden swords, he learned several different fighting styles and forms and learned to use weapons such as axes, lances, and a bow and arrows. He also learned martial arts to defend himself in extreme close quarters.
At the age of 14 he was regularly dueling with off-duty guards, his masters, and other swordsmen to test himself. He won quite often but never let it go to his head, he was extremely humble when he gained a victory over somebody and this made him popular.
At the age of 15 he went out into the city with his father and helped gift the poor people food and clothing that they needed. This grew the people's love for him and his father. He was used to working hard and taking care of himself to some degree and he kept his room neat, which the maids appreciated, meaning they only has to dust occasionally, wash his bedsheets, and draw water for his baths.
He learned how to smith at the age of 16.
At the age of 18 his father gifted him a suit of armor and sent him to the smith to make his own sword. And it was quite a sword, which he still carries. His father gave him a choice, join the military for 4 years, or go out among the people and help and live like them for 4 years. As much as he wanted to help the people he chose to join the army because a neighboring country was unstable and many different factions were vying for power and raiding groups has been hiiting Tolondrignan cities and settlements. So he decided to go and protect the country he loved instead. His father made him a knight like the other nobles and military men, but he earned his palce there. He earned all of his promotions and he became a high ranking officer and helped stop several raids on border settlements.
His father died when he was 23 years old, which made him king. He was coronated by the High Priest of the Elvish Pantheon and began his rule in the year of 791. He implemented laws to help those in poverty and struggling.
