Overview - The Gale

The most infamous pirate fleet of Voira, these three ships are under the command of Captain Stormtamer, manned by her trusted and highly capable crew. 

Ships

The Empress

The fleets flagship. It is the largest of the three and is outfitted for war. It’s hull is plated with metal, the sails are reinforced and it’s crew is highly trained for combat. The acting captain of The Empress is Stormtamer herself, assisted by her first mate.

The Queen

The Queen is the most beautiful of the ships. It is mostly used for presentation and as a meeting space with nobles that might want to employ The Gales “services”. It’s Bosun is very proud of his work and panics anytime the Queen is caught in a fight. It is the only ship to employ a shanty man.

The Duchess

The Duchess is a tiny, tiny ship. It is crewed by only five people and is the fleet’s messenger ship and is responsible for smuggling and stealth. It is way to small for combat and it’s crew is all trained in what to do when the ship capsizes, which it does a lot.

The Captain

The Captain is a mysterious figure. She is stern and authoritarian like her brother but she sometimes disappears for unknown reasons. Nobody has figured out that those disappearances align perfectly with the stretches of employment of Mirijam Scarlet, the Queen’s shanty woman. 

Territory

Their home port is Port Storm at the tip of the Astorian Continent. They operate all through the the Thousand-Men Coast as well as Lesea and the Bone Isles. Very rarely they venture up into the Empire. They mostly avoid Aedoran but do sometimes visit Keiron’s Outposts.
