Ivenian Calendar

The standard calendar used by humanity. Based off of the Rhodenian Calendar, created in 201 BU by the Recun Republic. The calendar has 9 months, 5 have 41 days, 4 have 40 days. These months are based off of how long it takes Eot's star to make a full orbit around the world. The calendar is split into 4 seasons, each getting 2 months, with the exception of summer which has 3.   Spring: Marus(41), Varus(40) Summer: Terithus(41), Sholas(40), Kynath(41) Autumn: Florian(40), Borlen(41) Winter: Wizec(41), Donen(40)   The Rhodenian Calendar put the year 1 at 210 BU, the year their republic was founded. The calendar was soon adopted by other kingdoms and empires on Eot due to its simplicity and accuracy. When the Unification Wars came to an end, and King Markus of the Cennti became Emperor Marcus the Great, he had the calendar revised. His version, the Ivenian Calendar, changed year 1 from the founding of the Recun Republic to the first year after the Unification Wars. While the Ivenian Calendar is the official calendar for trade, diplomacy, and history, Rhodenians still use their version at home for ethnic and religious reasons. When Marcus the 17th was killed the year was 510 AU (After Unification), for Rhodenians it was 711 AF (After Founding).
