Tath Leaf

Tath leaves are native to the large Tath trees in the southeast Tsiki rainforest. Of all of the natural ingredients found amongst the trees, the Tath leaves have been the most revolutionary to the medical sciences. When treating a burn, the leaves simply need to be wrapped around the damaged skin and wetted with rainwater. The water soaks through the leaf and stains the burn with the leaf's innards. This cools the burn and starts to rebuild the skin.    The volcanic regions to the north have a great need for these particular plants and have become the largest customer for the Wood Elves.

Utility

The leaves are wrapped around the burned skin, and rainwater is poured onto them. This cools and rebuilds the damaged skin.

Manufacturing

The Tath trees take 50 years to full mature, but the leaves regrow once harvested after several months. The regrowth time is shortened if more leaves are left unharvested.
Access & Availability
The leaves are only found natively in the Rainforests of Tsiki and need a climate identical to the one provided in the forest in order to grow. It is one of the leading exports for the Wood Elves.
Complexity
Not even the Elven Druidic council have discovered how the leaves treat burns in this manner, but they continue to study the plants to one day create a spell that achieves the same effect as the leaves.
Discovery
The Wood Elves that reside in the Rainforest are always testing the native species for their uses for various different practices. It was only a matter of time before the properties of this leaf were discovered. However, the leaves were originally discovered and to be edible, and were treated as a delicacy. Their use for treating burns came many years after their discovery, as Wood Elves' skin is very resistant to heat.
