Axefell Logging Guild

Axefell is a logging guild situated in Tsiki. Like most trade guilds, it is run by Light Elves. The guild operates in the forest and woodlands central to the continent. Due to an excessive amount of deforestation, Empress Tlaj Tsiki introduced an act requiring all trees felled to be replanted, conserving the very important natural resource.

Structure

The owner of the business is in charge of overseeing the guild, managing clients, and distributing profits. They know everything that happens within the guild and is responsible for the perceived status of the guild.  Next in the hierarchy is the head fellers. they are in charge of coordinating the fellers when on a particular job. They are responsible for the area of trees cleared, how they are transported, and how the fellers are transported to the logging site.  Third in the hierarchy are the fellers. They are the elves tasked with felling trees. Some fellers are also responsible for transporting logs to their destination and picking up the payment, but this is mostly done by head fellers.

Public Agenda

Their business consists of felling and selling trees. Wood is a very important resource, the distribution of it is sparse west of the mountains. The areas that are heavily forested were slowly thinning out due to the constant deforestation, prompting a replanting act to be issued by Empress Tlaj Tsiki. Axefell now stands for the gathering of wood as well as the preservation of the forests.

Trade & Transport

Timber is transported on large wagons drawn by great beasts. Due to the size of the logs, this is the only feasible way to move them.
