Sha'Hulla City

Sha'Hulla City is the capitol of Alani with it being the center of culture and government for the city. Many people flock to the city because of its beautiful scenery, but due to the strict government tourism beyond the purpose of trade and commerce is uncommon. People who see the city always describe the craftsmanship as impressive always allured by the Shopston district and the Verdan's impeccable ability to create and persuade. Overall this cities beauty is responsible for the survival of all those who live in Alani with it being necessary for the entire Provinces economy and clean water systems. It is just unfortunate how the wealth disparity between the rich and the poor along with the racial tension between the Verdan and the Trition  have ravaged the city. The government also not aiding in this problem only launching it forward has just plunged the city into underground chaos. However, you would only know this if you lived there and experienced how decades of issues have been covered up by a beautiful façade.

Demographics

In Sha'Hulla City Triton hold a dominant position in society, benefiting from centuries of accumulated wealth, knowledge, and influence. They occupy esteemed positions in the city's government, administration, and elite institutions, residing in opulent neighborhoods at the city's core. In contrast, the Verdan, while valued for their expertise in crafts, trade, and services, face a noticeable wealth disparity. They often inhabit the outskirts and suburbs, with limited access to advanced education and prestigious opportunities. Despite their contributions to the city's prosperity, the Verdan's access to resources and opportunities is constrained compared to the Triton, reinforcing the social divide between the two groups. The Treaty of Alani attempts to foster cooperation and protect the Verdan's rights, yet the challenge of addressing the wealth gap remains, urging the city to seek greater unity and equality for a more harmonious future. With Trition being the dominant population in the city and them controlling the police force it makes it even harder for the Verdan to exist in high society, however it doesn't stop a few from sneaking through.

Government

The government is characterized by a strict and centralized rule, with power concentrated in the hands of The Grand Overseer, who reigns with unyielding authority. The Grand Overseer's decrees are absolute, and his word is law, leaving little room for dissent or opposition. The city operates under a hierarchical system of administrators, ministers, and royal advisors, who act as extensions of the monarch's will, ensuring that his commands are carried out without question. This top-down approach to governance leaves little room for individual freedoms or political participation, as the The Grand Overseer's decisions dictate every aspect of life in the city.   Law enforcement plays a pivotal role in maintaining the The Grand Overseer's strict rule, and The Conch Order is the revered and feared enforcer of the The Grand Overseer's authority. Comprised of elite Conch Knights, they serve as the The Grand Overseer's loyal and unwavering protectors, patrolling the streets with an air of vigilance and authority. Clad in their gleaming armor adorned with the The Grand Overseer's insignia, they are a formidable presence, instilling fear in those who might consider challenging the The Grand Overseer's commands.   The Conch Knights are tasked with upholding the The Grand Overseer's laws and regulations, ensuring compliance among the city's inhabitants. They swiftly respond to any signs of disobedience or resistance, using their well-honed combat skills and mastery of the law to impose justice. The punishment for breaking the The Grand Overseer's laws is severe, ranging from harsh fines to public floggings or even banishment from the city.   The city's inhabitants live under constant surveillance, as the Conch Knights maintain a watchful eye on every corner and alley. Informants and spies are employed to root out any potential threats to the The Grand Overseer's rule, fostering an atmosphere of suspicion and caution among the populace.   While this strict governance approach may quell dissent and maintain order, it also stifles creativity and individuality. The city's people live in an atmosphere of fear and submission, hesitant to voice their opinions or challenge the status quo. Despite the city's apparent stability, the iron grip of the The Grand Overseer's rule leaves many yearning for greater freedoms and a more inclusive form of governance.   As The Conch Order continues to enforce the The Grand Overseer's strict rule, the city faces an internal struggle between maintaining control and addressing the needs and desires of its citizens. The question remains whether this strict governance will ultimately secure stability or lead to unrest and dissent among those who long for a different future.

Defences

The Conch Order, a skilled group of knights, forms the town's primary defense force, well-trained in Tridents, archery, and sailing. Watchtowers constructed from stone and clay are strategically positioned, offering vantage points for sentries to keep watch over the city and its surroundings. Simple communication methods, such as horn blasts and signal fires, serve as warning signals to alert the townspeople in times of danger. The city's natural advantages, including its location near hills, forests, and the sea, create natural barriers that can deter potential invaders. Streets and alleys are designed with tactical considerations, allowing defenders to channel enemies into more controlled areas. The townspeople, as an essential part of the defense, receive regular training to form a well-organized militia that can contribute to protecting their home. Through resourcefulness, community cooperation, and time-tested techniques, Sha'Hulla City stands strong against any threats that may arise.
