Blood Town
A lower area of in the city of Black Rift. It has been build along the Old Blood River and is mostly carved right into the very rock the city is build into. The Blood Town is locally governed by the Shifters' Guild house in the Iron Hall.
History
One of the first areas of City of Black Rift to have been built. Most of the areas carved into the rocks were created to store or process Surinis, with just a few of them meant as housing for the shifters and other workers. Most of the workers preferred to live on top of the ravine.
When expanding the tunnels and halls iron was discovered from the stone.
Architecture
The first striking feature are the various piers and pools created for harvesting Surinis. However, most of the blood town is a network of halls and tunnels carved into the rock on the sides of the Old Blood River.
Natural Resources
The main resource and reason for the settlement to exist is Surinis. There also exits small scale iron mining and processing operation.
