Lartuen

Lartuen is the god of wisdom, balance, and equality, and also the head deity of the Vishna-Ghrim pantheon.   Uncontestedly the most elves worship Lartuen in one way or another. According to the legend, it was Lartuen who, at the last moment, with her sacrifice, stopped the Cataclysm when Nataho-noro-hol and Deidare were on the verge of destroying each other. During this conflict, one of her eyes burned black, and she lost a hand.   Many Vishna-Ghrim are born with the 'Mark of Lartuen', which is a depiction of a black flame around one eye. In addition, Lartuen's disciples or warriors going into battle also paint black flame patterns on their arms and necks. The Symbol of Lartuen is also the symbol of the entire Vishna-Ghrim.   The Vishna-Ghrim elves seek a peaceful place at twilight whenever possible, where they quietly stand and find their center again, which may have started to shift during the day or night. They certainly celebrate Lartuen's day with a special ritual.
