Industrialized Alchemy
The advanced and industrialized applications of alchemy are the providence of the Jundo-no-min. In order to maximize the efficient application of the industrial form of alchemy, and harness the power of economies of scale that they have through elemental necromancy reduced the lush jungles of their land into their alchemical salts, and ash which has a charge of necrotic energy. The jungles were a rich source of alchemical components, but the growing limitation of particular species of plants made industrializing to beyond a certain scale unfeasible. The alchemical salts and necrotic ash, due to magic of their creation, carry a lesser elemental charge of Earth, making the alchemical salts able to be mined indefinitely, but also dooms all attempts to clean out the necrotic ash to futility.
