The great range of frozen jagged mountains is a massive barrier which divides Virtateron. Many kingdoms of the five cultures have borders with the great frozen peaks up in the mountains but those who live in these far reaches tend to share adaptation to the harsh environment that breeds independence distinct from their culture in the lowlands.
