Kingdom of Gwildan

The Kingdom of Gwildan is one of the north-western kingdoms of Fablen. It has served as the protector of all the realms against the Orc Tribes of the North. The Northguard have manned the various keeps and outposts along the Incursion Gap for a fifteen hundred years. They are proud of their service and though there is a one year deployment for guards, most will stay for their whole life.
Gwildan is a fairly new kingdom and was formed after the end of the Great Orc War, founded by Rewis Eryrlas, the man who killed the great-orc warlord, Gashak Man-Slayer during the Battle of the Incursion Gap at the end of the Sixth Age. He immediately began the construction of the defences of the Incursion Gap, and rebuilding of the cities and villages that were sacked and destroyed in the early stages of the war.
