The Partisi
Orignally a diplomatic organization created by Dwarven nobility with the sole purpose of keeping Siar and Thor from constant warfare, The Partisi are now an independent entity though they retain the singular mission.
On the middle day of the middle month of the year six of their senior members are divided and sent to Siar and Thor to conscript or recruit new members. They are given an exact number to acquire based on the census data each kingdom provided the year before. Two thirds of each Senior’s quota are to be recruited from the poor or working class, and the rest from the rich or nobility. Their goal is to have accurate representation from each class of each kingdom.
These new recruits are brought to The Partisi’s capitol of *** constructed on a massive bridge over The Divide. With the assistance of Dwarven Architects and Engineers, this great fortress was built equidistant from Stormhall and Siun with astonishing accuracy. Here they are trained in martial skill and diplomatic technique in equal parts. Any Partison worth his or her salt are understanding and patient enough to talk the most furious down from conflict, yet strong enough to put them down if necessary.
This results in the majority of the seniority becoming Paladins of one sort or another. Some place Oaths to justice and fairness, others to Divine beings who value peace and understanding. A very few will instead takes Oaths of Conquest and act as the blunt instrument that is sometimes required to accomplish the lofty goal of peace. The Partisi will use any means necessary to accomplish their goal and often recruit from any background or profession. Thieves, Assasins, Guards, Priests, Soldiers, and even the rare Druid. All have a place in The Partisi.
Structure
The Partisi is lead by a council of seven Seniors referred to as the Whole of Seven. Three Seniors are assigned to Thor or Siar each and are referred to as Part of Thor or Siar. The Parts of each kingdom also make important decisions as a committee, as a smaller version of The Whole. Any Partisons with lesser rank are simply referred to as Partisons.
Public Agenda
The Partisi’s only agenda is peace between Thor and Siar.
Assets
As part of a treaty signed by Thor and Siar after The Divide was constructed, each kingdom pays tribute to fund The Partisi.
